We have twice been to La Maison Florie and enjoyed every minute. The house is in a French style with all modern facilities, the centre being a large kitchen where the food is served around a farmhouse type table.  Next to this is the lounge with a television and CD music player where you can spend the evening relaxing, or if the weather is kind you can always sit on the patio around a lovely heated swimming pool looking out towards the Alps in the far distance. The Bedrooms are very large and the one we used had en-suite facilities certainly 5 star accommodation.  La Cote St Andre is a small provincial town with individual beautiful shops and a weekly market on a Thursday and has more than enough for those not wanting to venture out to far. For those that do, it is equidistance from Lyon and Grenoble, about an hour’s car journey to either. A little further afield and you have Aix les Bains, Annecy and Geneva which are fantastic day trips out using the house as a base.  We are aware that you could fly into Lyon or Grenoble Airport, but on the two occasions we stayed we took our car and saw other parts of France that were well worth the journey and making stay overs on the way at such beautiful towns as Reims, Troyes, Dijon, Beaune with visits to many wine growing areas, Epernay, Chalons-en-Champagne, Nuits St Georges and Macon to name a few.  Vivien & Alan Friend

We enjoyed our staying in La Maison Florie. The house is very well positioned and also thoroughly equipped with all the modern amenities you would expect. The town of La Cote has many quaint corners and good eateries. The town of La Cote St Andre hosts the annual Berlioz music festival in August every year which is a lively event with a wide array of excellent music. Quite a gem!    Jeff & Pauline Hewitt

I spent a very enjoyable week in La Cote St Andre at La Maison Florie. The house is very spacious and the decor and facilities are certainly first class. When we were there the weather was beautiful so we were able to enjoy the swimming pool, garden and dining al fresco.  Not to far from Grenoble airport so easy access to the house. Local village was within walking distance so it is ideal for shopping for French bread etc. lovely with a glass of wine at lunch time. Rosaline Gair and family

Generously-sized house and rooms, all very well equipped.   It is located close to a small town, with good views from the house front and poolside towards Grenoble, in the south east, and the lower Alps.  A very pleasant place from which to explore.  We enjoyed our stay immensely.
